· 1 oz of instant yeast
· 10 oz of sugar
· 8 eggs
· 3 oz of butter
· 3 oz of vegetable shortening
· 1 cup of water
· Sugar
· Place the flour on a flat surface and shape into a mound. Make a small hole in the center and place the salt, sugar and butter.
· Add the eggs one by one and keep mixing.
· Add water and knead for 30 to 40 minutes by hand or 15 minutes with an electric mixer with a dough hook.
· Preheat the oven to 180º C/355º F.
· Let the dough rest for 30 minutes or until it doubles in size.
· Shape the bread and decorate it with two “boned-shaped” dough pieces placed in a cross. Make a small ball of dough and place it in the center of the bread to represent the skull.
· Put the bread in the oven for 25 minutes or until lightly browned.
· Cover the bread with melted butter and sprinkle it with sugar. Enjoy!
